SMScarf is the evolution of the traditional scarf, created specially for the Olympic games with the latest technology fabrics to allow spectators to express themselves and be part of a sports network community.

SMScarf is made of light-emitting fabric, therefore you can use your cell phone to program what team you want to support and the scarf will instantly light up with the colours of your team. The Bluetooth technology allows the user to send sms to his scarf, that message will be displayed as scrolling text on the light-emitting textile. Besides that, the user can also choose a “mosaic mode” where his scarf will be lighting up a small part of a common message with all the spectators.

SMScarf is powered by the energy created when weaving it. In this way, the spectators are encouraged to be active during the match to charge the batteries of their scarves.
In case you can’t attend to one of your team’s matches, the scarf will vibrate when perceiving increasing activity in the network of your team.
